In what could be this year’s or perhaps this decade’s most historic event, the CEOs of the computing industry's biggest rival finally met in one event. Microsoft’s Bill Gates and Apple’s Steve Jobs took center stage during All Things Digital Conference sponsored by Wall Street Journal.

So, what these two icons of the computing industry talked about during a conference like this? Sorry to disappoint you folks, they did not engage into a fisticuffs or verbal fight. Instead, the two gentlemen showed the whole world that despite being rivals, they too are gentlemen and can respect each other. Both Gates and Jobs equally appealing to their respective fans exchange banters and jokes related to their products.

Even the events hosts could not get the two giants get into a heated argument or product bashing despite the controversial questions they throw into them.

So where will the two bigwigs go after this meet up? Obviously no mergers or buyouts would happen. The two CEOs respective companies although covering almost the products cater to different computing clients.

Despite the lack of controversies during the event, the momentous occasion was still worth every second spend on reading the accounts of what happened and what was talked about during the event. It was an unforgettable event that will be talked about in the generations to come.

So, who’s eyeballing next? The big 3 search giants. Now, that will be something to watch out for.
