Are You Ready for MicroHoo?

And the biggest news to hit the websphere comes just when the week is about to end. The buzz? Microsoft eyeing to acquire Yahoo! For $50 billion dollar. It is all over the online news.

The New York Post has the exclusive report which says:

“Stung by the loss of Internet advertising firm DoubleClick to Google last month, Microsoft has intensified its pursuit of a deal with Yahoo!, asking the company to re-enter formal negotiations”

It was a drastic move that Microsoft took hoping to beat top web search giant Google which has intensified its online domination campaign with the recently concluded Google-DoubleClick Deal. Microsoft was said to be eyeing the same company but got beaten up by Google with a $3.1 billion buy out deal.

So, Microsoft was left with no choice but to pursue its interest of acquiring the web’s second best web search company. The New York Post report said that this negotiations for quite some time now but did not materialize clearer until now.

Would Yahoo sell out? That would be interesting to watch out for. But are we ready for Microhoo? Or YahooSoft? Is Google ready for this big merger? What are its counter measures? How is it going to handle the combine arsenal of Microsoft and Yahoo? Or does Google even care about this deal?
