This Ain't No Joke!

As the industry continues to be oversaturated with products of comparative technology, pedestrian is a word that can never be associated with Apple products. The company excels at raising the bar above mediocrity while piecing together some of the highest performing professional devices on the market.
One product that has surpassed all consumers’ expectations is the Mac Pro Desktop Computer Workstation.

These are not the garden-variety type workstations many folks are accustomed to purchasing. They are customized monstrosities that can cater to any business or creative individual; to fit the needs of the likes of video professionals, photographers, and graphic designers.
The workstations are all completely customizable from the processor, to the graphics card, to just about any feature or component a PC enthusiast may need to fulfill their needs of constructing the best possible workstation available.
The Apple workstation that includes a 3.0GHz Dual Intel Dual-Core Xeon 5100 Series CPU, 1GB of RAM, 500GB SATA Hard Drive, 16x Dual-Layer SuperDrive, ATI Radeon X1900 XT 512MB graphics card, Airport Extreme, and Mac OS X 10.4 Tiger will carry a price-tag of about $3,500. The prices vary due to the different system components incorporated. For instance, the number and the speed of the processors will increase the price tremendously-not to mention the amount of memory selected as well.
One version of workstation for instance includes a quad core configuration, which provides users with up to four times the processing power of a single CPU. Alterations like these make it an ideal solution for the wide range use of CAD (Computer Aided Design)-computer-based tools that assist engineers, architects, and other design professionals in their design activities.
As far as software is concerned, Apple has preinstalled Mac OS X 10.4. Other included applications are Spotlight, Dashboard, Mail, iChat AV, Safari, QuickTime and iCal. The popular digital life suite, iLife '06 that includes iTunes, iPhoto, iMovie HD, iDVD, iWeb and GarageBand is also preinstalled on the computer.
